An 副学士学位 is intended for transfer to a college or university that awards baccalaureate degrees. It requires completion of a 60-credit academic program in the liberal arts 和 sciences. In order to obtain an AA degree, students must successfully complete the following requirements:

• Complete a minimum of 60 semester credits numbered 1000 or above.

• Earn at least 20 of the 60 credits at M State.

The curriculum has been specifically designed so that students completing each pathway degree 和 transferring to one of the seven 明尼苏达州 universities enter the university with junior-year status. An 美术副学士 degree requires completion of a 60-credit (or more) academic program in particular disciplines within the fine arts. The AFA degree is designed to transfer in its entirety to a baccalaureate degree program in a related fine arts discipline. An AFA requires a minimum of 24 credits selected from at least six of the 10 goal areas of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum. The requirements for the specific disciplines are:

• An AFA in Art requires a minimum of 24 credits selected from at least six of the 10 goal areas of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum.

• An AFA in 音乐 requires at least 30 credits selected from at least six of the 10 goals areas of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum.

理学副学士学位

An 理学副学士学位 is awarded upon completion of a 60-credit academic program in a scientific, technological or other professional field. The AS degree is designed to transfer in its entirety to one or more related baccalaureate degree programs. The AS degree requires a minimum of 30 credits selected from at least six of the 10 goal areas of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum.
